Skydivers from British Army Collide in the Skies over Lake Elsinore
Two skydivers from the British Army were critically injured after colliding in the skies over Lake Elsinore last night.
One of the skydivers suffered cardiac arrest and required CPR, as he was rushed to the hospital. The other skydiver also had serious injuries, according to the Associated Press.
The incident is being investigated by the British military in cooperation with the British Consulate, the Federal Aviation Administration and the Sheriff’s Department, The Los Angeles Times reports.
Officials with Skydive Elsinore have not been immediately available for comment for either publication. The Skydive Elsinore website states that the operation was established in 1959 and is the longest-running skydiving operation in North America.
