American Apparel Thinks Really Big

With the threat of bankruptcy looming back in April, you have to wonder if the executives at American Apparel were asking themselves what would be the next big thing. The next big thing. THE NEXT BIG THING. And boom, they had a marketing campaign and a way to capitalize on the controversy over previously telling plus-sized customers that they weren't part of their demographic.
Now the company is asking for the next bigger, better, booty-ful, curvy, full-figured, XLent ladies with full-size fannies who need a little extra wiggle room where it counts to be the next face of the new plus size line.
Think you have what it takes? The company has launched a contest on its site.
And while most of the contestants proclaim that they're not ashamed of their bodies in their entries, AA is asking you to judge of each woman's curves on a scale of 1-5.
