'Tourist Bandit' Sought By Police Has Struck Venice, WeHo
A man dubbed the "tourist bandit" is being sought by the FBI after robbing two Bank of American branches this week, reports KTLA 5.
Venice.
The robberies took place on Monday in West Hollywood, and on Wednesday in Venice. Each time, the bandit told tellers he had a gun and a bomb, although they weren't in view.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 40s, and got his nickname because he was wearing tacky souvenir sweatshirts that no self-respecting local bandit would wear, and because he hit up popular tourist destinations.
