Big Rig Crashes into Caltrans Building off Pomona Freeway
Early Wednesday morning a big rig veered off the Pomona (60) Freeway and collided into a Caltrans building. California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported zero injuries and just a tinge of irony.
As the driver headed eastbound on the 60 Freeway around 3am, he lost control of the of the vehicle after passing the Garey offramp, reports Daily Breeze.
The big rig rolled down an embankment and slammed into the Caltrans building, "momentarily trapping the shaken driver inside the cab," according to CHP Officer Patrick Kimball.
Paramedics treated the driver for minor injuries.
