The image of St. Pauli Girl is hard to shake from memory. We can easily picture her - the chesty blonde Fraulein clad in a blue, black and white barmaid wench dress, armed with six overflowing mugs of St. Pauli Girl, "Germany's fun-loving beer."

This year's St. Pauli Girl spokesmodel is L.A. resident Jennifer England. Hitting newsstands this week, Beer Magazine's September/October issue features England on the front cover, just in time for Oktoberfest.

To assume the esteemed role of St. Pauli Girl, England agreed to formal beer training at the Siebel Institute of Technology and World Brewing Academy.

St. Pauli Girl varieties include Lager, Special Dark and Non-Alcoholic Malt Beverage and are brewed in Bremen, Germany. As the number two selling German beer, St. Pauli Girl boasts one of the most well-known (and most ogled) labels among beer bottles.

Tickets for L.A. Oktoberfest are on sale now, and we hear Lederhosen is required.
