An IPA for Your Old E: Beer Belly Hosts 'Craft for Crap' Party
This is an intervention, because "friends don't let friends drink crap beer." For those of you still sipping cans of PBR or Natty Ice, you belong at Beer Belly in Koreatown this Sunday, August 28, for their Craft for Crap party. Rookie beer drinkers are invited to exchange a can or bottle of their "crap" beer for a "fine, FREE brew" from Cismontane, a SoCal brewery based in Rancho Santa Margarita.
Bartenders will be pouring a trio of delicious drafts - Citizen Steam Lager, Black’s Dawn Imperial Stout and Coulter IPA - all night long.
The beer exchange begins at 3pm and lasts until 10pm. Don't be shy or embarrassed; we've all tasted the tasteless. Consider Sunday your brewski graduation.
UPDATE (August 25): The California Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) has notified Beer Belly that they cannot give out free beer. Beer will be $.01 on Sunday.
