Babes & Boards: Supergirl Jam Kicks Off at Venice Beach on Sunday (Plus It's Topless Day!)

As if Topless Day isn't enough for Venice Beach this Sunday, the bohemian shoreline will host the fifth annual Supergirl Jam. Two female-centric events, both boasting the spirit of feminism and girl power, will take over the land. However, only one group will bare all. We're fairly certain the athletes will remain fully clothed.

Regardless, thousands of fans will descend upon Venice Beach to watch the world's top female snowboarding and skateboarding athletes compete. Setting up a custom-built skate course deems simple and doable. But snowboarding slopes? Impossible.

Or possible. ASA Entertainment will dump 80,000 pounds of real snow beachside.

Sunday's jam is free, open to the public and located at Windward Avenue and Venice Beach next to the basketball courts. Perhaps attendees can shoot some hoops while watching ladies bust some air, shred some snow and declare the right to go sans chemise. Commencing at 9am, the event wraps at 5:30pm after an autograph session.

Block out Sunday and head west.
