Rich & Unattached: Manhattan Beach Ranked Best U.S. City for Wealthy Singletons

Gold diggers, pack your bags. You're going to Manhattan Beach, baby.

The sophisticated South Bay beach town assumes the number one spot on CNNMoney's "Best Places for the Rich and Single," list. Though 30.2% of Manhattan Beach residents are single, the city boasts an impressive median family income of $154,860.

Eight of the 25 ranked cities are Golden State locations - six in SoCal and two in NorCal.

Beverly Hills is where you want to be if you're single, rich or seeking mates possessing either of the two characteristics. Ranking third, 90210's average family income totals $142,180, and 30.4% of its ritzy residents are single and ready to mingle (or whatever).

On Beverly Hills' heels in the fourth slot is Hermosa Beach, housing substantially more singletons than Manhattan Beach and Beverly Hills. Almost half of the city's 19,082 residents are single - 47.5% to be exact - and the median family income equals $134,033.

Other SoCal cities where the rich and unattached frolic are Coronado (#8), Marina del Rey (#13) and Irvine (#14).

Two Northern Cali cities - Campbell and Berkeley - just made the list at spots 24 and 25.

Bonus: We learned from CNNMoney that philanthropic TOMS founder Blake Mycoskie lives on a sailboat docked in Marina del Rey. Care for an afternoon stroll 'round the marina in search of new sneaks?
