Neighbor Hopes Angry Sign Will Curb Unlawful Behavior on Westside

Someone on the west side is really trying to take the fun out of the nightlife. A reader sent us the above picture, and let us know that the sign popped up on her neighbor's yard in the Olypmic/La Brea area last night. In case you can't tell, it admonishes bystanders who might be inclined to indulge in prostitutes (or be prostitutes themselves), drugs, drinking, shooting or stabbing people, and even good old-fashioned loitering.

But then what else is there to do??

OK, we kid. We don't, of course, condone unlawful behavior. But we do wonder exactly what this outraged neighbor thought that a sign would accomplish. Show me someone who has stopped dealing drugs in a particular location because a notice was put up in a yard, and I'll show you someone who is lying about where they're dealing drugs.

Jesus, California is a Third World Nation, speckled with moronic White people who have their head in the sand. How could you let that beautiful state fall into the (third world) crapper? Show me someone who has stopped dealing drugs in a particular location because a notice was put up in a yard, and I'll show you someone who is lying about where they're dealing drugs.

Well it certainly worked for me when I lived in Oakland.

Made up my own similar sign after observing a dealer plying his trade on our block by using a little girl to walk the drugs over to the buyers.

I let him know immediately he had better move his ass on somewhere else.

Then I posted the sign to warn others that they would not be welcome.

Never saw him again.

No dealer in their right mind would sell drugs at that location.
