Local Man Busted For Making Bomb Threats Against Vegas Casinos
A young man from Simi Valley was arrested this week for allegedly making multiple threats against Las Vegas hotels and casinos. 18-year-old Zachary Jackson is accused of phoning in the threats to multiple Vegas venues between July 28th and August 8th, reports NBC Los Angeles.
On the calls, Jackson allegedly disguised his voice and requested large sums of money, and threatened to use bombs to destroy the properties if his demands were not met.
Authorities say a search of the suspect's home led detectives to some "sophisticated devices" that could hold additional evidence related to these crimes.
A 16-year-old was detained, but not arrested, in conjunction with the case.
