Quinn and Karen Hatfield, the husband and wife chef duo behind the popular Hatfield's restaurant, have announced they are prepping to open a second eatery, The Sycamore Kitchen, early next year in a remodeled former print shop. The casual restaurant is being pitched as a "hip, neighborhood haven for seasonally-focused fare and sweet and savory rustic pastries."

The Sycamore Kitchen will be open all day long, and will ensure that locals will have a place to go for tasty pastries and coffee no matter the hour, along with house-made roasted meats, pickled veggies, and of course, freshly-baked breads and other goodies. Just the sample baked goods name-dropped in the email about the new venture will make mouths water: chocolate babka muffins, salted caramel pecan rolls, brown butter and sour cherry scones and lemon polenta cake.

They'll serve brunch, lunch, dinner, and to-go items during their 8 a.m. to 8 p.m hours.
