L.A. Craft Beer Crawl Features Unlimited Tastings Of 50+ Taps

Beer drinkers, mark your calendars. Downtown L.A. welcomes the annual Los Angeles Craft Beer Crawl this Saturday, August 13. Catering to the microbrew enthusiast, the event features unlimited tastings of over 50 different taps. We repeat: unlimited tastings of over 50 different taps.

Tastings are available at seven separate locations in downtown, all within walking distance, and offer some of the best craft and artisanal beers in the country.

Tasters will undoubtedly work up an appetite (plus require substance to soak up their samples) and may crawl to several food trucks plus Cole's French Dip and Caseys Irish Pub for needed bites.

Organizers warn that the event will sell out and advise purchasing tickets online immediately. General tickets are $49 and include a 6oz. tasting glass, wristband and unlimited tastings. VIP tickets are sold out. There's also a Designated Driver option priced at $10 for responsible crawlers. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Heal the Bay.

The crawl begins at 3pm and continues until 8pm. Crawlers should check in at Broadway Bar or Casey's Irish Pub.

To whet your thirst, here's a list of several (but not all) participating breweries.

Allagash, Ballast Point, The Bruery, Bootlegger's, Brouwerij West, Cismontane, Craftsman, Drake's, Deschutes, Duvel, Eagle Rock, Firestone, Ladyface, Lost Coast, Moylan's, Maui Brewing co., New Belgium, Nibble Bit Tabby, Noble Aleworks, North Coast Brewing, Ommegang, Sierra Nevada, Stone, Strand, Taps, Uncommon
