Free laundry service, complimentary gym memberships, company beer fridges, summer hours - many companies in California boast incredible employee perks. The Golden State receives four of the six nods in Mashable's 6 Companies With Awesome Employee Perks roundup. Of the four, one is Santa Monica's Coloft; the other three are Northern California companies.

As a shared workspace and community for startups, entrepreneurs and freelancers, Coloft enrolls its members in BetterWorks. Run through a simple Web interface, BetterWorks provides small and medium businesses with discount offers from local vendors - gyms, yoga studios, salons, laundry services and more. Coloft also offers events and seminars on startup life.

The three NorCal companies mentioned are Clif Bar in Emeryville, Asana, a Silicon Valley startup, and Rockyou!, a social game and advertising company in Redwood City.

Clif Bar offers a bevvy of perks, and here are a few to give you an idea just how awesome employees have it.

*There are four atriumed gardens that let in natural light and plenty of oxygen; repurposed bikes, kayaks, paddles and surf boards suspend from the ceiling to function as artwork, there’s bike parking and there are “loaner bikes” that can be used for local errands.

*There’s a 40-foot bouldering wall and a fitness center with a yoga room, dance studio, two massage rooms, shower and locker room facilities and free access to five certified trainers and nutritionists.

*A $350 stipend to help cover the entry costs for races, events and competitions.

*A dog-friendly office

Asana offers in-house yoga, organic home-cooked meals twice a day, sweet workspaces plus executive and life coaching.

Rockyou! rewards its employees' good ideas with the YouRock Awards, hosted every six weeks.

Angelenos, care to share your company's preeminent perks?
