Victims of a recent string of bicycle thefts and car break-ins in one Newport Beach condo complex are hoping investigators can nab the perps who have been upsetting the peace in their parking garage over the past four months. To help describe the two men who are causing havoc at the Villa Balboa, their appearance has been likened to a couple of well-know faces: KFC's iconic Colonel Sanders and actor Ashton Kutcher, explains the Daily Pilot.

Residents say about 15 bicycles have been swiped from their underground parking garage. Surveillance footage has been collected and submitted to the police, however no one has been caught yet. The thieving duo are described as follows:

The "Colonel Sanders" suspect looks older than 50, has a goatee, carries a cane and is heavyset, while Kutcher's doppelgänger is less distinct, with black hair and a dark jacket.

The thieves are helping themselves to bikes stored in a variety of manners, from U-locked on fences to parked in a communal area. To help get more bicycles registered with the local authorities, police held licensing event at the condo complex, which got 40 bikes on the books. A community licensing event is scheduled for today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Newport Pier. If you take your bike, though, to today's event, keep an eye out for the Colonel or the Punk'd star's look-alikes who might be eying your wheels.
