Fatal PCH Car Crash Leaves One Man Dead, Six Others Injured

A fatal car crash occurred on Pacific Coast Highway today around midnight. After crashing into a pole on PCH, a Ford Focus burst into flames, according to The Daily Breeze. The accident leaves one mad dead and six others injured.

Reported at 12:06am, the crash occurred at the 16300 block of West Pacific Coast Highway in Pacific Palisades.

Firefighters pronounced a 35-year-old man, who was riding in the passenger seat, dead at the scene, reported KTLA. A fifteen-year-old girl remains in critical condition at a nearby hospital. Five other people survived the crash.

PCH remained closed between Temescal Canyon Road and Tahiti Avenue for several hours while authorities investigated the crash. The cause of the crash is pending.
