The Burn May be Over as Arson Suspect is Arrested in NoHo Fires

A suspect has been arrested in connection with a number of fires that have been deliberately set in North Hollywood over the past few weeks, reports the Daily Breeze.

The arrest was made following another fire that was set in a mobile home in the 7300 block of Farmdale Avenue around 4:30 this morning. After having previously put the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Arson/Counter-Terrorism Section on the case along with the LAPD, officials had been following the suspect and arrested him about seven blocks from the blaze.

The suspect, whose name hasn't been released, has been accused of setting up to 18 other fires in the area, in mobile homes, cars and apartment buildings. 14 were set within two days beginning on July 21, and all happened around 3:00 a.m.
