The electric car super geniuses at Tesla Motors have released a sneak peek video of its pre-production Model S Alpha having a go around a test course. Tesla teases with test footage showing showing little more than sleek sportiness silently skimming the surface of the track, reports Auto Week.

The first premium all-electric sedan, the Model S is expected to hit the market mid-2012 year starting at $57,400 with "three battery pack options, providing from 160 to 300 miles per charge, depending on the battery pack. It is expected to qualify for federal and state incentives and car-pool lane permits," according to LA Now.

    Eh.

I didn't watch the video, granted, but the pictures weren't that impressive.  I'm sorry to see the Roadster go (I understand why, but it's still too bad).

  • Shouldn't this be tagged as a sponsored post?

you're so right--everything we report on and/or show interest in is because we are being paid by them to do so. (kidding aside: if a post is sponsored, we make a very clear designation as such. no one on our staff is driving off in their new tesla thinking we sure got one over ya.)

  • Good to know, StuffWe'reInterestedist.
