A key witness to the attack on Giants fan Bryan Stow has died, reports L.A. Now.

Matthew Lee apparently died from an allergic reaction to peanuts after eating a salad that contained them on Sunday.

The news comes on the heels of an announcement from the LAPD that they are searching for others who were attacked on the same night as Stow.

Louie Sanchez, 29, and Marvin Norwood, 30, are currently being held on suspicion of having attacked Stow.

Earlier today, the Daily News reported that Lee had been punched by Sanchez just moments before he allegedly participated in the attack on Stow, knocking him to the ground after punching him from behind, and then repeatedly kicking his head as he lay unconscious.

Stow is still being treated for brain injury, and meanwhile Sanchez has sought to have his bail reduced.
