Dodgers' Shortstop Rafael Furcal Agrees to Trade with St. Louis Cardinals

The vultures are circling overhead trying to pick at the choice morsel bits of the decaying Dodgers. On Saturday the vultures were the St. Louis Cardinals trying to pick off Dodgers’ shortstop Rafael Furcal.
“I don’t know anything,” Furcal told reporters before Dodgers’ batting practice at just past 4:00 p.m. “I only know whatever you know.”
Between then and before the start of the 7:10 p.m. game against the Arizona Diamondbacks, Furcal not only got the call from his agent he approved the trade.
“I don’t want to be unprofessional,” Furcal said about accepting a potential trade with the Cardinals. “Whatever they want to do with me, I’ll take it.”
In return the Dodgers will receive a minor league prospect while sending Furcal with a suitcase of straight cash. The deal has not been publicized with details still needed to be finalized. Furcal will be in the starting lineup for the Cardinals on Sunday according to reports.
During Dodgers' batting practice, Furcal was on the field bidding farewell to several people on the staff. He was not present in the Dodgers' dugout at the start of the game.
