Vote & Score Big Bucks For Your Favorite SoCal State Beach
SoCal Best Beach Campaign will award the top three Southern California beaches with $25,000, $15,000 and $10,000 respectively, as voted by the people.
Funds will aid in beach clean-up, lifeguard support and maintenance efforts. Additionally, International Coastal Clean-Up Volunteer Day on Saturday, September 17, will honor the three winning beaches.
Participants may cast their votes through Tuesday, August 16.
Currently in the lead is Torry Pines State Beach with 14 votes. Huntington State Beach claims second with 11 votes, and Silver Strand State Beach follows close behind in third with 10 votes.
In order to vote, participants must obtain a code by visiting a SoCal Vons or Pavilions, purchasing $5 of participating Coca-Cola products and using a VonsClub card at checkout.
Maybe that's why there are only 102 votes so far. They're making you work for it, SoCal!
