OC Drug Dealer Sues Deputies for Alleged Beating
A suspected OC drug dealer has turned the tables on the Sheriff's Department, taking them to court in a lawsuit over an alleged 2009 beating, reports KCBS.
Derek Salazar claims that he was beaten by five OC deputies after having been arrested for felony drug charges, while he was waiting to stand trial. The lawsuit also names Orange County Sheriff Sandra Hutchens.
Salazar is currently serving two years in state prison after being found guilty of the drug charges.
