Score! Officers Find $3M Worth of Heroin After Stand-Off With Armed Man

handcuffs-319_thumb.jpg Officers in San Bernardino scored what has gone down at the biggest drug seizure in the department's history following a brief standoff with an armed man Monday. Authorities were sent to a home to investigate a report of a man shooting a gun in the yard, according to KTLA.

A 33-year-old man was arrested after a 45-minute standoff. However, when officers conducted a search of the home, they happened upon over 76 pounds of back tar heroin that was prepped for being sold. The estimated street value of the drugs is $3 million--which is just about a million shy of the arrested man's bail.
