Does This Influence Your Vote? George Lopez Says He'll Move to Canada if Sarah Palin Wins Presidency

Funnyman, deport thyself: "If Sarah Palin becomes president at any point, I would say 'allegedly,' I will move to Canada," comedian George Lopez told CNN's Piers Morgan in an interview (video).

Lopez didn't say why he wouldn't head south of the border (we have a few ideas) but he did explain that it's all politics: "I like my politicians to actually have a political background."

Palin has not announced her candidacy, however, so for now, Lopez will remain here on his native California soil. Lopez might want to find a realtor in one of the many fine Canadian cities, points out Top of the Ticket, since Palin "continues to do extraordinarily well in the polls," including on one that puts her "right on the heels of front-runner Mitt Romney," who graced us with a visit here in North Hollywood last week.

One of the last times Lopez got his tongue tied in politics he said he would run for Mayor of L.A., and called himself a Lo-bama. Turns out he was kidding. Um. Ha ha?

  • I think Lopez needs help packing.
Isn't he a member of that racist group La Raza?

  • Palin doesn’t need to be our president.  The salary isn’t enough for her and she’d
just abandon the post like she did in Alaska.
Do you want someone in office whose main focus isn’t on the people but
on her bank account?  What Sarah’s after
is fame and fortune and everything that goes.
See the ways she sells herself at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot...

Hit the road, Lopez, you unfunny little jerk. Canada doesn't want you. Why not sneak across the Rio Grande late one night?

We don't want you up here Lopez.  Turns out, we like you less than the border states do.  Stick with your constituents or go south to join your brethren.
