"Arrested Development" fans rejoice. The cult classic is finally gracing the silver screen come 2012.
In case you missed it, Will Arnett confirms claims of the movie's potential production on Marc Maron's "WTF" podcast on July 11. Maron asks Arnett about the possibility of "getting the band back together." Arnett builds anticipation about the question he is most frequently asked, "Is there going to be an 'Arrested Development' movie?" by discussing bits about parenthood, then finally reveals the celebrated news around 1:13:52.
"But we are gonna make the 'Arrested Development' movie," says Arnett."
The audience rightfully cheers, claps and whistles. Arnett continues.
"And Mitch Hurwitz, who is really just a brilliant, brilliant guy, is in the process right now of concocting something that's really kind of unexpected, I think. That I really don't want to give away, but I think the fans are going to be really satisfied."
Arnett also recommends fans write their congressperson to ensure the project progresses.
Jeffrey Tambor, who plays George Bluth, also says the movie is happening, according to the Huffington Post.

Years overdue, a Bluth family reunion is finally (and seemingly definitely) in the works.
