Pets of the Week: Starburst & Skittles Kitties / Chihuahua Mix Named Flea
Skittles & Starburst are waiting for you at Kittenpalooza! Photos courtesy of spcaLA
Meet Skittles and Starburst, one of many kittens available for adoption at spcaLA. spcaLA is an independent non-profit animal welfare organization that has served the Los Angeles and Southern California communities since 1877. spcaLA operates two pet adoption centers in Los Angeles.
Skittles and Starburst are currently residing at the South Bay Pet Adoption Center in Hawthorne. The 4 months old sisters are playful kittens who get along well with other cats. They are curious, but also like to relax making them pretty mellow for kittens (as indicated above). Skittles (#11-04046) is a white and gray tabby, Starburst (#11-14045) is an orange and white Tabby. If you are thinking of adopting a kitten, it's worth considering adopting two: they will have a playmate when they are young, and as they grow, they'll always have a feline companion. spcaLA has two feline pet adoption summer specials starting today and lasting until September 23rd at both spcaLA locations. With Twice the Love, adopt two cats or kittens for $105 or with Experience Counts, adopt a cat 1 year or older and save $25 on the adoption fee.
Visit Starburst & Skittles at the South Bay Pet Adoption Center today during Kittenpalooza, spcaLA's annual cats and kittens adoption event. In addition to adorable adoptable felines, there are gift bags for adopters, vendor giveaways, prize drawings, shaved ice, and a craft table for kids.
Stop by at 11am and meet cat behaviorist, Jackson Galaxy from Animal Planet's "My Cat from Hell." Find out about casting for season two, just in case you know someone who could use some help.
Kittenpalooza, Saturday July 23rd,10am-4pm.
