A Horrifying, Neck-Stabbing, Pool-Drowning, Chatsworth Crime Scene
In what police believe was an attempted murder/suicide, a man stabbed his wife in the neck early this morning at the couple's Chatsworth home and then drowned himself in the swimming pool, according to the Daily News.
A domestic violence call from a home on the 20200 block of Lassen Street was received at 12:30 a.m., said Los Angeles police Sgt. John Kielbasa of the LAPD's Devonshire Station. Responding officers found a woman stabbed in the neck and a man drowned in the pool, Kielbasa said.
The woman was taken to a local hospital and her current condition was unknown. No names have been released and the investigation is ongoing.
