REDCAT welcomes the L.A. premiere of Sandra Bernhard's latest show, "I Love Being Me, Don't You?" from August 11-14.

Backed by a four-piece band, Bernhard presents a "no-holds-barred evening of outrageous humor, cutting satire and fiercely energetic live performance." Her comedy album of the same title released in June.

No virgin to the limelight, Bernhard first stepped on stage at The Comedy Store in L.A. in the 1970s and has since toured the U.S. and Europe, delighting audiences with her edgy stage shows.

Located within the Walt Disney Concert Hall, REDCAT's intimate, 240-seat space provides the perfect atmosphere for this limited batch of slightly mad performances.

Shows begin at 8:30pm August 11-13 and at 7pm on August 14. Tickets are $45-$50 and available online or by phone through REDCAT's Box Office at 213-237-2800.

"Give the dame her due... it's invigorating just to be in the presence, once again, of a true original," said the New York Times.

We're convinced and will report back with a full review after the August 11 show.
