Ice Blended Ecstasy: NYC is Getting L.A.'s Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

They make a superior tea latte to that other company with the mermaid logo, and you can get a pretty solid sugar high from their ice blended beverages, and now New Yorkers get to enjoy Los Angeles import Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. The news sent a ripple of cheery shockwaves through the city, like your beloved half and half rippling through your morning cup of joe.

"I’m from LA and a big fan of Coffee Bean so I’m super excited to finally get an ice blended mocha (or an off the menu ice blended half and half which is half mocha and half vanilla)," enthuses Midtown Lunch. (If that wasn't enough coast-to-coasting, Midtown Lunch's founder transplanted himself to L.A. last year.)

The Big Apple will be getting three locations in the next year. Yelping New Yorkers are somewhere between happy and spazztastic about the coming of the Coffee Bean, having begun "adding multiple exclamation marks to darn near every sentence," ribs Gothamist. OMG!!!!

We say, fine, whatever, like you can tooootally have our CBTL. But you're April foolin' if you think In-N-Out is setting up shop in NYC. Hands OFF.
