Abandon Ship: LAUSD Teachers Quitting At 'Alarming Rate'

A new study from U.C. Berkeley found Los Angeles school teachers are quitting their jobs "at an alarming rate," according to CBS Local. The study notes that teachers working at Los Angeles Unified inner-city charter schools are "up to three times more likely to quit their jobs" than educators employed in other districts.

One of the authors of the study remarked that the finding are "probably the result of ongoing, difficult teaching conditions." Next stop, presentation for the school board.
