Free 'Vegucated' Documentary Screening At Animal Rights 2011 National Conference

The Westin LAX Hotel welcomes the annual Animal Rights 2011 National Conference this week. Commencing on Thursday, July 21, and ending on Monday, July 25, the conference is the world's largest and oldest gathering of animal rights advocates and features the following highlights.

Day One's highlight is the sneak preview screening of Vegucated, a guerrilla-style documentary that follows three carnivorous, dairy-loving New Yorkers who adopt a vegan diet for six weeks. During their trial they uncover the horrors of animal agriculture and fight to expose an industry which they recently supported.
Hosted in conjunction with Compassion Over Killing, this free special event screening is open to the public. The night's vegucation starts at 5:15pm and lasts until 7pm. Doors open at 5pm. Following the screening is a Q&A with writer-director Marisa Miller Wolfson and film subject Brian Flegel.
Bonus: Sneak preview tickets grant free entrance to the conference's opening ceremony and plenary session from 7:20pm-9:30pm.
