How many fisherman does it take to reel in an 11-foot shortfin mako shark? Four.

This mammoth sea beast met its fate during this past weekend's shark tournament out of Channel Islands Harbor, as reported by myFox LA.

Channel Islands Harbor is located 62 miles northwest of Downtown Los Angeles and 35 miles south of Santa Barbara.

Weighing in at a mighty 860 pounds, the shark won the men first place in the competition, along with the $12,000 grand prize.

Congrats on killing an ICUN listed Threatened species with basically no
history of attacking humans (13 unprovoked attacks in the last 500
YEARS) to win enough cash after taxes to buy a used Daewoo. Good job, guy!
