Three Men And A U-Haul (Filled With Stolen Best Buy Electronics)

Strange things transpire in Venice. Early this morning, after breaking into a West L.A. Best Buy, stealing electronics and filling a U-Haul van to the brim with their goods, three men and their U-Haul eluded police and vanished in Venice.

LAPD responded immediately to a business alarm at Best Buy, instigating the chase. Beginning before 3:30am around the 11300 block of West Pico Boulevard, the pursuit led police into Venice where the alleged burglars escaped on foot.

Residents in the Milwood and Electric Avenue area were advised to remain indoors while police and an LAPD helicopter searched for the fleeing bandits.
