7-Eleven Free Slurpee Day Is Monday! Clear Your Schedule!
One day, a beach shovel and a drinking straw fell in love and had a baby. Looking for a way to legitimize their multi-functional lovechild, the proud parents took a meeting with 7-Eleven and formed a partnering based on their mutal belief that cold slushy liquids belonged not only on winter sidewalks, but also in drinking cups.
The moral of the story? It's FREE SLURPEE DAY tomorrow, July 11, at participating 7-Eleven locations!! There are slightly more accurate and less awesome retellings of the Slurpee origin story, but regardless of the version you prefer, it's time to arm up with coasters and brain-freeze repellant in celebration of the company's 84th anniversary.

7-Eleven, Inc., the company that invented convenience retailing 84 years ago in Dallas, Texas, invites customers to celebrate its birthday this coming Monday with a free 7.11-ounce frozen Slurpee drink. Participating 7-Eleven stores across the U.S. and Canada will serve up 5 million free 7.11-ounce Slurpee frozen carbonated beverages this day while supplies last.les, and that the previous record for most free Slurpees handed out is 5 million, which is how many they're giving out on Monday, "while supplies last."
