A brief cellphone video obtained and published by celeb gossip site TMZ shows San Francisco Giants fan Bryan Stow in a confrontation with at least one Los Angeles Dodgers fan while in his seat inside the stadium.

In the video, Stow is seen at the end of the confrontation, holding his hands up as a man in a Dodgers jersey holds his finger in Stow's face, and uses obscenities in Spanish. The man in the jersey, however, is not "prime suspect" Giovanni Ramirez, who is in jail on a probation violation, but has not yet been charged in conjunction with Stow's eventual beating in the parking lot after the game.

The Los Angeles Police Department has not made any comment yet regarding the video, nor is it known if the man seen in the video talking to Stow has any role in the beating.

UPDATE 12:20 PM: According to L.A. Now, the LAPD say they are reviewing the video obtained by TMZ, as well as any available footage from inside the stadium that day, as part of their ongoing investigation of the Stow beating case.

  • I don't care what kind of expletives he used to describe Dodger Dogs, still no excuse to getting beat like Rodney King.

  • Have you people NEVER been to a sports event?! Or watched one on tv at a bar? Or your house?! And y'all have never talked shit with fans of the opposing team?

  • This case apparently will never go to court until TMZ produces some kind of blurry cellphone video. According to my amateur investigative skills and poor Spanish, this video appears to be evidence of a man in a blue Dodgers jersey taunting a man who resembles Bryan Stow, saying essentially "go fuck yourself" (en español). He then walks away and asks someone else "cerveza viejo?" ("beer, old man?")
