Stow Beating Suspect Ordered Back to Jail for Parole Violation

He still hasn't been charged yet for his alleged role in the beating of San Francisco Giants fan Bryan Stow, but Giovanni Ramirez has been ordered to stay behind bars during a parole hearing today. "A parole official determined that Ramirez should be ordered back to prison for 10 months," explains NBC Los Angeles.

The only matter up for discussion today at the closed door hearing at Men's Central Jail was the charge that Ramirez was in possession of a weapon, discovered in a laundry basket at his residence, which constitutes a violation of his parole.

In regards to the Stow case, there have yet to be charges filed against Ramirez. His lawyers continue to assert their client was not at Dodger Stadium at the time of the March 31 parking lot attack. Stow remains in a coma and is hospitalized in the Bay Area.
