Ah, Los Angeles, home of the abundant drive-through window. From Starbucks lattes, super-sized burger combos, we can eat plenty--if not well--without leaving the comfort of our cars. This week, QuarryGirl tipped readers off to something pretty exciting for the meat-free eaters: An all-vegan drive-through restaurant is opening in Highland Park.

Plant Food For People is what has QG "freaking out with excitement." And, with good reason, since not only is a vegan drive-though novel, but PFFP [Twitter] opening its doors also means another vegan-friendly place serving up eats.

No word when the official full serve open is, but this weekend they'll be teasing NELA palates with their jackfruit tacos for a little sneak preview starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday evening.
