Ken Goes Greenpeace, Dumps Barbie Via Banner Hung By Protesters on Mattel Building

Barbie's longtime love Ken has delivered her a big-time dumping in the form of banner just-unfurled on the side of the Mattel building in El Segundo. The issue: Ken doesn't date chicks who are into deforestation.

A Facebook page set up by eco activist org Greenpeace explains the premise:

OMG. Can you believe it? Barbie thinks packaging's more important than the planet. Because of her, rainforests are being ripped up and furry animals, like orangutans and Sumatran tigers, are dying. Well honey, I've got news for you, I've got a conscience. So everyone, it's time to save Team Planet. Let's email the boss at Mattel to tell him what we all think.
