Pig Out Next Week on Special Burgers at Oinkster

Squid Ink got our attention this morning with news of a week-long burger celebration at The Oinkster, one of our favorite Eagle Rock eating spots.

oinkster-burger-week.jpg Though they did miss National Burger Month/Day by just a calendar page, The Oinkster is firing up the grill with daily tributes to beloved burgers born in California, including the Father's Office, the Tommy Burger, Umami, and even McDonald's, starting Monday June 6th. For one day, the men from the rockin' good Grill 'Em All Truck will be taking over the line and serving up their own creations.

The whole burger shebang comes to its end on the weekend, when The Oinkster is offering a 2-day special "$25 Burger," which actually isn't $25, but rather $9.50. It comes with: Porcini/white mushrooms (sautéed with shallots, cream, grated Parmesan), Cambozola cheese, Arugula, Truffle aioli, and Crispy onions on a Panning roll.

Bonus: Forget what your mama said. Next week at The Oinkster, you'll want to take a wooden nickel. They'll be handing one out with each burger purchase which is good for 1/2 off a regular burger the next time you come in.

Why is there absolutely no mention of this on the Grill Em All site?
