ArtNight Pasadena is Friday, May 20
Twice-annual ArtNight Pasadena is back after being temporarily canceled last year due to funding concerns, reports the Pasadena Star-News. The event will be held tomorrow night at venues around Pas.
The event is put on in part through mini-grants of $500 given out by the city's Arts and Culture Commission, reports the Star-News. The grants allow smaller venues to gain publicity alongside more well-recognized locations. Participating institutions include One Colorado, the Pacific Asia museum, the Norton Simon, the Pasadena Museum of History and the Armory Center for the Arts.
According to the event's website, shuttles will be available to take attendees from place to place, where events will be free and open to the public.
This year will also boast the participation of eight food trucks, including Border Grill, Cool Haus and the Grilled Cheese Truck. Get your truck on alongside your art, folks!
