What's worse, being charged with robbery or having people describe you as "in your 80's" when you are in fact a 50-year-old woman?

We kid, we kid -- the latter is clearly worse. But the theory is being tested on the woman now known as the Granny Bandit, 50-year-old Dodi Wasbotten, who plead not guilty to four counts of robbery today, according to KTLA.

Wasbotten was accused of approaching women in the parking lots of Fontana department stores last week and robbing them at gunpoint, then fleeing the scene. She was originally described by a woman she robbed as being in her 80's, and wearing a floral scarf and sunglasses to obscure her face.

Wasbotten, who lives in Fontana, is being held on $500,000 bail at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, reports the San Bernadino Sun.
