Roll up your car windows and watch out for mudslides -- Los Angeles is about to get hit with an unseasonable rain storm tomorrow and Wednesday. According to KTLA:

In Los Angeles May is the third-driest month of the year, receiving about one-quarter-inch of rainfall on average, but Mother Nature seems to be staging an encore to an already wet winter and early spring.

Heavy rainfall, linked to a "complex series of fronts and a connection to an unseasonably strong jet stream" is expected to start after 11 p.m. tonight and keep coming down till about 11 a.m. tomorrow, according to the National Weather Service. There will be a 40 percent chance of rain again on Wednesday morning, and then clearer skies are likely for the rest of the week.
