The drink's brightly colored cans and fruit flavors paired with a hip-hop marketing campaign will attract underage drinkers to what Illinois AG Lisa Madigan called a "binge-in-a-can."
Blast comes in a 23.5-ounce can and contains 12 percent alcohol by volume. It's distributed by Colt 45's parent company Pabst Brewing Company.
The Blast by Colt launch party at the Trousdale apparently went off without conflict. At a launch even in Boston Thursday night, however, the beverage was not served.
If you find some, please bring it by LAist HQ. We'd like to try it out while kickin' it to Snoop's latest studio album -- Doggumentary.
