Man Arrested for Beating Autistic Bus Passenger
Police have arrested a man accused of beating a man with autism on a bus for no apparent reason, reports KTLA.
On April 10, Ronald Jackson, 44, is seen boarding a San Bernadino bus in footage taken by the bus' security camera. After passing by the disabled man, who was talking to himself, Jackson walks back and begins hitting the man in the head, unprovoked. He follows him out to the street and hits him several more times.
The autistic man was able to walk away from Jackson before the bus drove away.
One day after the beating, Jackson was in jail on charges of carjacking. Charges will be filed against him tomorrow, according to KTLA.
