Would You Like Fries With That Job? Today is McDonald's National Hiring Day

We like to celebrate "days" around here. Recently, we've kept you abreast of such national observances as Pi Day, Eggs Benedict Day, and who could forget National Noodle Day?

Well, today will go down in history as the day that you could start eating the McRib for free -- a.k.a., McDonald's hiring day.

The company -- which has 35 locations in the city of Los Angeles, according to its website -- announced that it hopes to add 50,000 people to its employee roster by day's end. They're looking to fill positions ranging from hourly workers in their restaurants to office-folk at their corporate locations (it should be noted, though, that those who are looking to sling burgers must not have any visible tattoos).
