Kobe Loves Maggots After All!

Apparently Kobe Bryant does love faggots like me after all. He released a brief statement:

What I said last night should not be taken literally. My actions were out of frustration during the heat of the game, period. The words expressed do NOT reflect my feelings towards the gay and lesbian communities and were NOT meant to offend anyone.

So he wants us to give him a free ride because he was frustrated and that it's our fault for interpreting his words as being offended.

The NBA is looking into the matter as league spokesman Tim Frank told ESPNLosAngeles.com. So despite this apology of sorts, he can face supplementary discipline.

But to give Bryant credit, he did acknowledge that the words "fucking faggot" did escape his mouth rather than "sucking maggot" or any other permutations.
