A SWAT operation at a North Hollywood apartment complex lasting several hours ended overnight with no suspect found, according to ABC7. Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a call of multiple shots fired at the building at Oxnard Street and Laurel Canyon Boulevard at around 10 o'clock Sunday night. The officers believed a suspect was barricaded inside the building.

On scene was the victim, a man in his 20s who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. "The victim was still able to drive himself to the Kaiser Permanente hospital in Panorama City for treatment," notes Studio City Patch. An LAPD spokesperson says the victim was not cooperating with the authorities.

Officers recovered a weapon from the scene, and the apartment walls had numerous bullet holes. The immediate area was evacuated while the police searched for the shooter. Ultimately, the SWAT team was called off, and the suspect was not located. The LAPD's investigation is ongoing.
