Shooting At BLVD Hotel & Spa In Studio City

Following an alleged altercation, a gunman opened fire in the parking garage of the BLVD Hotel & Spa on the 10700 block of Ventura Blvd near Universal Studios, striking a hotel customer around 3:00 a.m. Sunday, according to authorities, reports KTLA.
The suspect, described by police and witnesses at the scene as "an adult male African-American wearing a blue sweat suit" reportedly "accosted an adult male hotel patron as he exited The Lobby bar," and headed to the underground parking lot. The gunman reportedly fled, on foot, through a rear exit of the garage, notes KTLA:
Bar patrons and hotel guests reported hearing five loud gunshots before seeing the suspect flee down Ventura Blvd. A bar employee described the shooting to police showing carefully spaced shots being fired A broken wine bottle may have been used in the assault or was dropped by a startled witness.
The victim, an adult male, was taken by ambulance a local hospital via police escort.
