They Say It's Always Sunny and 72 Degrees in L.A.

But we know they're full of it. We get rain. In fact, sometimes it feels like when it rains, it just dumps on us all the rain we don't get most of the rest of the year, right? This week, when it rained, it poured, and we lost power, trees and branches came a-tumblin' down, and 9-1-1 calls surged by 62%. That's some serious rain.

The rain, however, can be dramatic, and that goes for its visual impact, as well. Though today's video lunch captures a storm in time lapse from January of this year, the way the clouds moved over Eagle Rock then is still as resonant. And, yeah--it's going to rain again today.
