So there were a lot of whispers during All Star Weekend about Los Angeles Clippers' forward Blake Griffin's slam dunk title being rigged. The NBA issued a press release hours before the competition announcing the events for the NBA Jam Session for Sunday. In it:

Five middle school students will showcase their dunking talents in front of 2011 NBA Sprite Slam Dunk Contest winner Blake Griffin.

The NBA quickly corrected that press release and simply labeled Griffin as an All Star.

Now TMZ.com has found a disgruntled fan who had allegedly given Griffin the idea of dunking over a car via Twitter. As TMZ writes:

Now, [Michael] Scrivner is PISSED that Griffin hasn't given him any credit for the idea -- telling TMZ, "He could have at least given me a shout out!”

And do the saga continues.
