2nd Body From Lennox Drug House Yard ID'd, Charges Pending

Late yesterday, the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office identified the second body found in the yard of a Lennox home as that of Gabriela Stein, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Stein had been reported missing in December, along with her husband, James, whose remains were also found buried in the same yard last week.

The Steins were the owners of the home, which neighbors described as rundown and a local "drug house." An autopsy is pending on the body of Gabriela Stein, and the LASD say the "investigation surrounding the circumstances of the deaths of Gabriela Stein and her husband James Stein are continuing."

26-year-old Marcus Lomeli, who was taken into custody by authorities last week after a standoff, could be charged today in the murders of James and Gabriela Stein, according to the Daily Breeze. Lomeli lived at the Lennox home, and while his arrest Wednesday was "in connection with several crimes unconnected to the bodies," Lomeli "could be charged with murder today," notes the Sheriff's Department.

The yard of the Lennox home was dug up at the suggestion of Jenny Salazar, Lomeli's girlfriend who was taken into custody several days prior to Lomeli.
